  2. 1 kg chicken pieces
  3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. to taste Salt
  5. as required Oil for frying the chicken
  6. For gravy
  7. 2 bay leaves
  8. 3 cloves
  9. 2 green cardamom
  10. 1 black cardamom
  11. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  12. 5-6 black pepper corn
  13. 2 large size onion paste
  14. 2 medium size tomato paste
  15. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  16. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  17. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  18. 1 tsp cumin powder
  19. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  20. 2 tsp coriander powder
  21. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  22. to taste Salt
  23. 3 tbsp curd
  24. 2 tsp milk
  25. 2 tbsp fresh cream
  26. 2 tsp Kasturi methi
  27. 1 charcoal
  28. 1 tsp ghee

Instructions to make to make Chicken angara

  1. First for marination take chicken pieces in a mixing bowl add turmeric powder and salt and mix it well and keep aside for 1 hour.
  2. Now heat up a pan with oil add all the whole spices sauté it then add onion paste and fry for 5-6 minutes on high flame then add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute now add tomato paste and all the listed spices and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  3. Meanwhile heat up a pan with oil and fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  4. After 10 minutes add curd and milk mix it and cook for 5 minutes till oil separates.
  5. Meanwhile place a charcoal on gas stove.
  6. Now add chicken pieces mix it and cook for 3 minutes then add little water to adjust the consistency and cook for 2 minutes and at last add fresh cream and Kasturi methi mix it and cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat and switch off the flame.
  7. Now in the centre place a small bowl and put the burnt charcoal and pour 1 tsp ghee and quickly cover the lid and leave for 5-6 minutes then remove it and serve.
  8. Enjoy.
